Say No to Racism

Rio Ave FC has 13 nationalities in its main Squad:

Portugal, Angola, Brazil, Spain, France, Holland, Belarus, Egypt, Senegal, Liberia, Ghana, Nigeria and Venezuela.

Unfortunately, we know or see, sometimes incidents about racism in European football. We want to pass a simple message, which is not new, but which also can never be repeated enough too.

Say no to racism must be remembered so many times how someone is plagued by this despicable ideology … racism.

Here do not count the colors, no matter the race or religious belief. Here the passion for football is what matter.

We carry out this initiative to warn all our supporters, fans of other clubs … all sports fans , because in sport, in football, there is no place for racism. We assume this passion, this challenge with courage ever!
